My Mother's Mother is my Mother too (Midnight Violet)
A print I made thinking about my mother and grandmother.
The phrase "一日三秋" on the lower left translates to "one day and three autumn," describing how a day can feel like three autumns when you are missing somebody.
The print is handmade and unframed. Block print on Thai Kozo paper.
Reissued in Midnight Violet (Dioxazine Violet), a color that looks like a warm black but changes to a dark violet when held up to the light.
