Year of the Snake
Celebrating the year of the snake!
Snakes are often misunderstood—sometimes seen as cunning, but to me, they embody wisdom, charm, and profound transformation. Their energy is subversive, a quiet yet powerful force to be respected and admired. Never underestimate her!!!
In this image, a snake protects a girl, symbolizing the way the fierce parts of us bravely protect our soft hearts. The accompanying Chinese characters play on the name of the snake, declaring: “If not me, who else?”
This print is a tribute to the strength and resilience of the snake, and to the community that has supported me in every step of my journey. As we step into this new year, I look forward to embracing change and growth, just as the snake sheds its skin to reveal a new powerful self even under difficult circumstances. This piece is my gratitude, my celebration, and my message to you.
The print is handmade and unframed. Signed with my name stamp and pencil signature.
Limited editioned print of 88 for the Year of the Snake! Block print on Thai Kozo paper.
Image is approx. 6" x 4"
The entire paper is approx. 9” x 6”
